Today we had Hero workout ‘Glen’. What means that there is a history behind this workout. Former U.S. Navy SEAL Glen Doherty, 42, died in an attack on a U.S. consulate on September 11, 2012. He is survived by his parents, sister and brother. ‘Glen’ is a balanced workout that includes cardio, gymnastics, and weightlifting and is as followed. For Time: 30 Clean and Jerks (135/95lb) 1 Mile Run 10 Rope Climbs 1 Mile Run 100 Burpees Some wise words to think about when doing today´s workout:“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a ride!”
With a 40 min time-cap there was no time today to spent on a lot of technique training. Luckily we had yesterday a lot of technique training on the clean so for now it was a short warm up followed by some tips to focus on and 3,2,1 showtime!💪🏼 The start of the workout with 30 C+J was okey, then the 1 mile run (what’s not everybody’s favourite). Back in, 10 rope climbs/rope ups or a RX variation for the diehards legless rope climbs. After that the running again and last but not least 100 burpees! Yes that’s mental thoughtness! The tip of today don’t count up from 1 to 100 in a row but break it up in smaller parts as 10×10 or 5×20. Happy and sweaty faces! Bra jobbert! God Helg!! Go all the way down for some news!! 😍
NYHETER!! Vi har nå lagt inn timer 08.00 hver eneste dag (!!) fra og med neste uke av! Håper det gjør morgenfulene glade og vi håper trøkket holder seg slik at det ikke blir for mye. Vi har observert veldig stort trøkk på morgentimene og med dette håper vi at 08.00 timen kan hjelpe :).
