"Pushing me away" 07.12.2021

God kveld alle sammen!


Today's workout was aptly named "pushing me away". More on that social distancing in a special email coming to your inbox tomorrow, since new COVID-regulations are in place and we need to distance ourselves a bit more than we were used to lately. We will double-check everything tonight and inform you tomorrow on why and what we will be changing.


My highlight of the day happened while coaching the 18:00 class. Patryk showed up and took on this team workout SOLO. He put in effort for two and finished within the time cap. I like his style! Another feat that is worth mentioning is that Frode completed a 5-minute AMRAP of 5 sandbag front squats and 5 strict presses, without putting the sandbag down. It might sound simple, but usually, ideas that sound very simple are the most challenging. Give it a try if you have five minutes and a heavy object.


Obviously all other athletes today put in a nice touch of effort as well. You must have felt those legs weren't 100% fresh after yesterday's squats and afterparty. But you showed up, pushed through, and gave it today's best effort anyway. Hat tip to that.
